We had a wonderful, beautiful snowstorm; and I loved it!!!! The excitement of a little kid came over me as I watched the big beautiful flakes started to fall, and fall, and fall some more! The kids and I stayed home Thursday and Friday, it was so nice to hang out with them. We went into Ben Franklin to pick up some craft suppies and stayed busy learning how to crochet on Friday, which is something I have been wanting to learn for a long time! The kids played with friends and had fun in the snow. Here are some of the pics from the past week!

This is just down the street from out house, kaiden was making ramps to go off of with his sled~
These are pictures of out side of our office and Main Street in the town that we live in!
Doesn't look so pretty!

(Referring to the photos of downtown) Boy am I glad I was stuck at home. Yuck!
Cute shot of your kids sleeping.
That's such a cute picture of the kids!
Karsyn was crying after school today, because she lost her glove. You must've finally gotten the message across to her! Did she find it?
Thanks for sharing your photos.
Sounds like you had a fun time being snowed in.
I agree with Aisha and Valerie that is a cute photo of your kids sleeping.
Ahhhh Val that is too funny! I did not hear a word about it, but I think she had two on when I picked her up today!!!!
That last picture of downtown Madison looks like it should be hanging on a wall somewhere...very cool!
Hope it's okay that I am "lurking"
I am not sure I've ever commented before!
Shanely,
Can't believe that I missed it when you posted something new.
I am like you. I watch with giddy excitement at the snow falling. I peek out of my window as soon as I wake up to see if the "blizzard" has hit yet.
You are such a great mom to think of doing something fun like that with the kids. I need to be better about that.
BTW- I am baking, in my oven right now, the beer bread recipe you left on Amber's blog. Thanks so much for that recipe, I've been looking forever for one like that and it just can't be any simpler!
you will have to let me know how you like it! It is a huge hit for our household (as well as for our neighbors)!!!
