On Friday Mike took Karsyn to a father-daughter dinner. It was so sweet to watch the excitement! I told Karsyn of the news as I picked her up from day care and told her we had to hurry home and get her ready for a special date with her Dad. She instantly became gitty. She said "It will just be me and daddy?", when I said yes, she was all smiles and giggles. There is something about a Daddy and his little girl that is so precious!!! So we rushed home and got her all dressed up in her fancy red dress and fixed her hair. Mike gave her a red rose and they headed off to the dinner with a friend of ours and his daughter! It just melted my heart! When they got there they had their picture taken, had a wonderful spaghetti dinner, I think that they had some entertainment as well. All of the proceeds went to the Christian School, and they had the pictures ready for them as they left.

Father - Daughter!

My dad use to take me out for dates regularly...those are memories I will have long after he is gone. Thanks for reminding me how awesome it is to have a dad that loves me.
I bet that would have been so much fun!! Was that at the Baptist Church? I talked to a friend of mine about going.
